How do we restore what makes communities safe and strong?
How do we walk in right relationship—with each other, the land, and ourselves?
How do we lead with heart, courage, and deep connection?
Join us for Reconnecting Community: A Call to Courage—a unique gathering for those who are passionate about connection, belonging, and building a more just and peaceful world. This day is for changemakers, community builders, helpers, and anyone yearning for deeper, more meaningful relationships in their work and everyday life.
Together, we’ll explore how to mend and strengthen the fabric of community through relationship, care, and collective leadership rooted in humanity and hope.

We are deeply honoured to welcome three exceptional Wisdom Guides—Daniel Bellegarde, Heather Plett, and Cormac Russell—each bringing decades of lived experience in community building, healing-centred leadership, reconciliation, and systems change.
Cormac Russell – A global social explorer and guide in Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), Cormac helps us rediscover the wealth already present in our communities and the power of citizen-led change.
Daniel Bellegarde – A respected leader, facilitator, and advocate for Indigenous rights, Daniel shares grounded wisdom rooted in land, language, Treaty, and relationships that guide us toward truth and reconciliation.
Heather Plett – Author of The Art of Holding Space, Heather brings a compassionate lens to how we show up—for ourselves, one another, and the spaces in between—with presence, care, and integrity.
Together, Heather, Cormac, and Daniel bring a powerful blend of lived experience, practice-based wisdom, and system-level insight to the work of reconnecting community. Their collaboration invites us to rethink how we lead, relate, and restore trust in ourselves and each other.
This is more than a conference. It’s a circle of learning, unlearning, and weaving new ways of being—together. Learn more about our Wisdom Guides here.
